Joel Romo, RN, FNP, is a registered nurse and family nurse practitioner bringing more than 14 years of experience to All Valley Urgent Care, serving people of all ages in Brawley and El Centro, California.
Joel began his career pursuits at Imperial Valley College in Imperial, California, earning his associate’s degree in nursing. After graduation, he enrolled at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona, and obtained his bachelor’s degree in nursing.
Before joining the team at All Valley Urgent Care, Joel earned his Master of Science as a family nurse practitioner from United States University in Chula Vista, California.
Since entering the medical field, Joel has served in various positions, including registered nurse supervisor, registered nurse, and registered charge nurse. He provides various preventive and general health services, including diabetes management, colostomy care, and IV therapy.
Joel speaks English and Spanish fluently. Outside of work, he enjoys participating in continuing education. In fact, he’s certified in basic life support (BLS), advanced cardiac life support (ACLS), and pediatric advanced life support (PALS).
